Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Awase ("Awase," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Awase helps you aggregate Google Calendar data, collaborate with assistants in a workspace, and share availability for booking. Features may change over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Google Calendar connection

Connecting Google Calendar requires you to authorize Awase to access your Google account with the scopes shown during consent. You represent that you have the right to connect the calendars you import and that doing so does not violate any agreement or law. You may disconnect Google at any time from your dashboard.

Workspaces, sharing, and bookings

You control who can access your workspace and what calendar information is visible through privacy settings and share links. You are responsible for content you publish, people you invite, and bookings accepted through your shared availability. Do not use shared links to collect information you are not permitted to process.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt to access another user's data without authorization.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, including by automated scraping or abuse.
  • Reverse engineer or circumvent security or access controls except where permitted by law.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

Third-party services

The service integrates with third-party providers such as Google, Supabase, and email delivery services. Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

Intellectual property

Awase and its branding, software, and content (excluding your data) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose while these Terms remain in effect.

You retain ownership of the content and calendar data you submit. You grant us the rights necessary to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CALENDAR SYNC WILL BE COMPLETE OR TIMELY.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AWASE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Awase from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, your shared links, or your violation of these Terms.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or other users, or where required by law. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice when practicable. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Awase operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections apply in your jurisdiction.
